About Bâb Sebta
Bâb Sebta is the former northeastern gate of the Medina of Tetouan; It leads to the neighboring cemetery. Scarcely crossed, in the enclosure of the medina, one finds at the top of the stairs, the first zaouia, the zaouia Al Harraria. It was built in 1828 for Sidi Mohamed el-Harrak. To the right, along the wall of the Jewish cemetery, are the tanneries: an absolute must-see. Then let yourself be guided through the narrow streets in the flat part of the medina, rather sunny, for a discovery of the artisans.
